    WBBC convened candidates, legislators, and industry leaders in Wausau on 28 May 2026 to put digital-asset policy positions on the record ahead of the August primary. Free and open to the public.

    Three bills we backed, and what happened to them

    AB 892 passed the Assembly. AB 471 died in committee. SB 951 drew no opposition at all. What each bill said, who was in the room, and how far it got.

    Wisconsin at the DC Blockchain Summit

    WBBC was a Community Partner for The Digital Chamber's DC Blockchain Summit in Washington, 17–18 March 2026, through the Chamber's State Network Microgrants Program.

    One hearing, three bills, three different answers

    On 25 February 2026 the Senate Committee on Utilities, Technology and Tourism took up all three digital-asset bills in one sitting. The consumer-protection bill got 5–0. The staking bill got 3–2. The office-building bill never got a vote at all.

    Wisconsin at the North American Blockchain Summit

    WBBC attended NABS, hosted by the Texas Blockchain Council, in November 2025 — and the frameworks argued there showed up in Wisconsin bills months later.

    AB 471 goes before committee

    The Crypto Clarity and Innovation Act got its public hearing on 1 October 2025. WBBC testified in support. So did the bill's author, a Milwaukee artist, and Stand With Crypto — and AARP Wisconsin and all 72 county sheriffs asked for an amendment.

    Signed on in support of the CLARITY Act

    WBBC joined the Stand With Crypto Wisconsin chapter in writing to Senator Ron Johnson in support of H.R. 3633. The House passed it 294–134; a year later it still has not cleared the Senate.

    WBBC carried Wisconsin’s creator economy and builder community into the Global Blockchain Business Council’s flagship Washington convening.
