Two of these rungs exist for reasons other than revenue. Advocate is priced so that anyone who works in Wisconsin’s digital economy can belong. Civic exists because municipalities live with digital-economy rules first, and should be able to read the analysis without a corporate budget.

What happens when you pick a level
- 1Choose your level above. Your choice carries through: you will see it named at the top of the next page.
- 2Create your account. One form: your details and your organization, then the terms of the level you chose.
- 3Settle the dues. Card at the end of the form where card is enabled; otherwise we email an invoice with ACH or check terms within two business days. Invoices are issued by, and payable to, Wisconsin Blockchain Business Council, Inc.: the organization’s registered legal name.
Card and invoice are split on purpose. Below roughly $2,500 nobody should have to chase an invoice to support a trade association, so Advocate, Business and Practice are built to take a card. Above it, procurement almost always prefers an invoice, so Civic, Corporate and Anchor are invoiced. Prefer to talk first? Contact us.
Dues paid to a 501(c)(6) business league are not deductible as charitable contributions; they may be deductible as an ordinary business expense. As required by IRC section 6033(e), WDBC will notify members of any portion of dues allocable to lobbying or political activity, which is not deductible.
