Video games and esports in Wisconsin traces the state film credit, which covered games from tax year 2008 through 2013. The 2025 budget revived the credit at 30 percent and left games out. Bills to add them, in 2024 and again in 2025-26, cleared committee and died without a floor vote.

Children’s online safety in Wisconsin covers what passed and what did not. The Legislature funded investigators and created new crimes for sextortion, grooming and deepfakes. The bills on app stores, social media accounts and AI companions did not reach a Senate vote, and the age-verification bill for adult websites was vetoed.

Both entries cite the bill record and show when they were last checked. Neither takes a position on any bill.
