The GENIUS Act became law on 18 July 2025. It takes effect on the earlier of 18 January 2027 or 120 days after federal regulators issue final rules under it. Since it was signed, federal agencies have issued a steady run of rules, proposals, guidance and charters on digital assets and stablecoins. Much of it reaches Wisconsin banks, money transmitters and the choices open to the state.

The Federal Tracker lists each action with its source and a short note on what it means for Wisconsin. Open comment periods sit at the top with their closing dates, listed for reference.
