Every large data center proposed in Wisconsin, on one map

A new Policy Library tracker: who is building, who is paying, how much power, what incentives and where each project stands.

  • Announcement
  • Data Centers & Compute
Wisconsin’s counties on navy with each tracked data center project as a circle sized by stated investment; live projects in gold, paused or cancelled ones as dashed rings.

The live page, as of 27 October 2026.

The Wisconsin Data Center Tracker covers projects of roughly 20 MW or $100 million and up, plus any explicitly AI facility, announced since 2023. For each one it shows who is building it, who is financing it, how much power it needs, what public incentives it gets and where it stands.

Size the map by investment or by megawatts, filter by status, search by company, town or county, and sort the full table.

Every fact carries a label: V for checked against a primary source, R for reported by the press or a study, U for unconfirmed. Map locations are approximate.

WDBC takes no side on where data centers are built. We want the terms in the open.
