Wisconsin at the North American Blockchain Summit
Carrying a Midwest state's digital-asset agenda into the largest policy-facing blockchain gathering in North America.
In November 2025 the Wisconsin Blockchain Business Council attended the North American Blockchain Summit, hosted by the Texas Blockchain Council — the largest policy-facing digital-asset convening on the continent.
Wisconsin is not Texas. It has no comparable mining industry, no equivalent energy politics, and a legislature that had not yet passed a single digital-asset statute. That is exactly why the room mattered: the states that move first write the templates the rest inherit, and a state that never shows up inherits someone else’s.
Wisconsin’s own staking bill passed the Assembly on 19 February 2026 and died when the Senate declined to concur. The question now sits with a Legislative Council study committee drafting the 2027 version.
