Wisconsin data center tracker

Every large or AI data center proposed in Wisconsin since 2023: who is building it, who is financing it, how much power it needs, what public incentives it gets, and where it stands. WDBC takes no side on where data centers are built. We want the terms in the open.

How to read the tracker

Each fact carries a label. V means we checked it against a primary source: a company release, a municipal record, a Public Service Commission filing, the Legislative Fiscal Bureau or an SEC filing. R means it was reported by the press or a third-party study. U means it comes from an industry tracker or our own inference and has not been confirmed. Where sources disagree, the project file says so.

The scope is projects of roughly 20 MW or $100 million and up, or any explicitly AI facility, announced since 2023. Investment and power columns show the largest figure stated for each project so the list can be sorted; read the project file for the phase and confidence behind it. Map locations are approximate, estimated from named roads or town centers, and are not parcel boundaries.

This is web research. Nobody was contacted. If you see an error or a missing project, tell us and we will check it.
